Privacy Policy

Our promise

Your files are processed in your browser. No document bytes are uploaded to Aladdin for processing.

Follow our verification guide to prove this yourself using DevTools and offline mode.

What our servers do

Our servers only distribute static JavaScript and WebAssembly. We never receive, store, or cache your private files for local tools.

Open DevTools → Network before you open a file. You should see only static assets (.js, .wasm, CSS). No POST or PUT requests contain your PDF, image, or document bytes.

Turn off Wi-Fi or enable airplane mode — local tools keep working. That proves there is no cloud dependency for supported workflows.

Local tools (default)

  • Processing: Files are processed entirely in your browser via JavaScript, Web Workers, and WebAssembly. No document bytes are sent to Aladdin servers.
  • Storage: We do not store tool input or output on our servers. Medical/dental record tools use browser LocalStorage only — data never leaves your device unless you export it.
  • Verification: You can audit all network activity in DevTools. No hidden upload endpoints exist for local tools.

Pro optional GPU batch

Pro subscribers may voluntarily upload files to our GPU server for heavy batch jobs. Files are processed in memory, automatically and permanently deleted within 10 minutes, with no backups or retention.

Server-assisted tools (optional upload)

A small number of tools (e.g. PDF compression via Ghostscript) may upload files to our dedicated PDF processing service when you choose that workflow. Those tool pages display a clear disclosure. Privacy-first vertical tools do not use this path.

Analytics & hosting

  • We may use privacy-friendly analytics (page views only, no file content).
  • Cloudflare hosts static assets and may log standard HTTP metadata (IP, user agent) for security.
  • We do not sell personal data.

Cookies & billing

Essential cookies support Pro subscription status. Payments are processed by Paddle or Stripe under their own privacy policies; we do not store card numbers. No account is required for free local tools.
